CUTE! Elderly Man Carries Wife On His Back Across The Road
Photos of an elderly man carrying his wife on his back while crossing the boisterous street in Daxing district in Beijing yesterday has gone viral. The man was captured supporting his staggering wife as they walked on the road. As they approached a busy intersection, the man carried his wife on his back so they could cross the busy street as soon as possible.

CAUGHT! NAFDAC Arrests Man Making Fake Peak Milk
The suspect, who lives at 42, Cameroun Road in Calabar, Cross River State, has confessed to the crime.
A NAFDAC statement made available to Southern City News on Tuesday quoted Nnabuihe as confessing that he procured cheap powdered milk and branded and branded it as Peak Milk, which is more expensive.

The suspect, Mrs. Chika Orji, was arrested following a confessional statement by one of the suspected assassins, Bright Ikechukwu, who was arrested while attempting to break into Mr. Orji’s apartment at Jakande Estate, Ajah.
During preliminary investigation, it was discovered that one of those hired for the botched assassination was a carpenter, identified as Ekene, who usually worked for Mr. Orji.

Governor of Lagos State, Ambode, Sacks Commissioners!
The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, on Wednesday fired the commissioners for Tourism, Mr Folorunsho Folarin-Coker; Finance, Dr. Mustapha Akinkunmi and Transport, Dr. Ekundayo Mobereola.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tunji Bello, announced the cabinet reshuffle by the governor.

Policemen Have No Right to Check Vehicle Particulars - AIG
Mr Dan Bature, an Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of Police in Charge of Zone 11 comprising Oyo, Osun and Ondo states, says any policeman checking vehicle particulars on the highways is on illegal duty.
Bature said this on Wednesday in Ibadan during a two-day familiarisation visit to Oyo State.
He said that the duty of the police was not to check vehicle particulars but to ensure safer roads.
Bature warned policemen against blocking high ways, saying police patrol vehicles were not supposed to be toll gates.

BREAKING: Boko Haram Releases Chibok Girls!!!
Boko Haram militants handed over 21 missing Chibok schoolgirls to the Nigerian government Thursday morning, according to a source with direct knowledge of the release.
The girls, who have not been named, remain in Maiduguri, the source said.
The militants herded the 276 girls out of bed at a school in Chibok in northern Nigeria in April 2014.

Detectives from the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a middle aged woman for allegedly planning to murder her husband. The suspect who resides at Lekki area of the metropolis was said to have paid about N600,000 to suspected assassins to help her carry out the killing.

"The West is Preventing Nigeria's Power Solution" - Kemi Adeosun, Minister of Finanace cries out
The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has accused western powers of being a stumbling block to Nigeria’s plan to improve power output through the use of coal.
Adeosun said this on Wednesday in Washington during a discussion on the importance of addressing infrastructure gaps in developing countries at the World Bank, International Monetary Fund General Meetings.
She said that improving power supply was the corner stone of the current administration’s goal towards economic development, yet finding it difficult to get support from western community.
“We want to build a coal power plant because we are a country blessed with coal, yet we have power problem. So it doesn’t take a genius to workout that it will make sense to build a coal power plant.However, we are being blocked from doing so, because it is not green. This is not fair because they have an entire western industrialisation that was built on coal fired energy.

NDLEA torture has destroyed Baba Suwe's health – Actor Yomi Fabiyi seeks help/justice for Baba Suwe
Back in 2011, Yoruba actor Babatunde Omidina who is popularly known as Baba Suwe was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed Airport on the suspicion of carrying cocaine in his stomach. He was detained for three weeks by NDLEA but no drugs were ever found.
