The CAC has released a tool to let citizens search its database for companies. This tool is still in testing and can be used to verify if a company exists.
This can be helpful in filtering out fake companies or helping to check if a name has been taken
Just visit http://publicsearch.cac.gov.ng:8080/comsearch/test.php to use the app
